Ryu Hyun-jin will make his seventh start of the season

Hanwha Eagles left-handed pitcher Ryu Hyun-jin (37) will make his seventh start of the season. He’s looking to reach 100 career wins, a feat he’s fallen short of twice.

Ryu will take the mound against the SSG Landers at Hanwha Life Eagles Park in Daejeon on April 30.

Ryu is 1-3 with a 5.91 ERA in six appearances this year after returning from an 11-year stint in the Major League Baseball (MLB). Since his fourth start of the season, a six-inning shutout against the Doosan Bears on Nov. 11, which was his first career win and gave him 99 career victories, he has suffered just one loss in his last two starts.

As expected, wins have been slow to come this season. His pitching has been up and down, with three five-run outings. 스포츠토토 Add to that a slump in the team’s batting lineup and defense, and it’s not helping Ryu’s cause.

Hanwha is also struggling in the standings as their ace has repeatedly failed to find the win column.

Hanwha is in eighth place with 12 wins and 18 losses through 29 days.

They were at the top of the standings in March with a 7-1 record, but their pace has slowed down in April. They need a strong pitching performance and a win from Ryu to turn things around.

This will be Ryu’s first time facing SSG this year. SSG’s trademark long ball control will be key.

SSG is known as the “Home Run Square” team and has a lot of power. With a team batting average of .274, which ranks fourth in the division, SSG’s bats lead the team in home runs (39).

The matchup between SSG’s “home run factory” Choi Jung and Ryu Hyun-jin was one of the highlights of the game. Ryu’s reunion with Choi has been in the spotlight since the announcement of his return.

Before leaving for the big leagues, Ryu was particularly vulnerable to Choi. Choi hit .362 (21-for-58) with four home runs against Ryu.

Choi is still going strong.

He has hit double-digit home runs in 19 consecutive seasons and is tied for the home run lead with 11 this year. With 469 career home runs, Choi has surpassed the 467 career home runs of Doosan Bears manager Lee Seung-yeop to become the KBO’s all-time leader in home runs.

All eyes will be on Ryu Hyun-jin, 슬롯사이트 순위 who has only one walk-off home run this season, to see how he fares against Choi Jung.

It will also be the first time he has faced Shin-Soo Choo (SSG) in the MLB.

Ryu and Shin-Soo Choo have faced each other once before, on July 28, 2013, when the LA Dodgers pitcher and Cincinnati Reds hitter went 2-for-4 with a walk and a strikeout.
