Real Madrid celebrated the signing of France international Kylian Mbappe, 25, on Saturday.
It’s been seven years since we first spotted Mbappe in 2017 as a player with the talent to become one of the best players in the world…… Real Madrid has finally made Mbappe’s signing ceremony a reality. Around 80,000 supporters gathered at the Santiago Bernabeu, the club’s home stadium, in a ceremony that rivaled that of FW Cristiano Ronaldo in 2009.
Mbappe had idolized Real Madrid since childhood, but in 2017, he opted to join Paris Saint-Germain from Monaco. After a series of twists and turns, the France international striker finally realized his dream of pulling on the white shirt this summer, and stood on stage at the Bernabeu alongside president Florentino Perez, honorary president Pirri, and compatriot Zinedine Zidane to address the 80,000 adoring supporters. He said the following
“Hello, everyone. I’d like to speak to you in Spanish.”
“No… I can’t believe I’m here, it’s always been my dream to play for Real Madrid, and today that dream has come true. I’m really happy. I want to thank president Florentino Perez for believing in me from the beginning. A lot has happened… I’m grateful. Likewise, I want to thank the people who helped me get here. I’m looking at my family here. My mother is crying.”
Mbappe then kissed the club emblem on his left 안전한 파워볼사이트 breast. The crowd erupted in cheers as he continued his speech.
“It’s a really great day. I had only one dream since I was a kid, and it means a lot to me to be here. I want to thank the madridistas (Real Madrid fans) for all the love they have shown me over the years. Now, I have another dream, and that is to show that I am worthy of the history of this club, and I will give my life for this club and this emblem.”
“And I want to tell you one thing: I was a kid like you: if you have passion and dreams, your wishes come true.”
“I’m full of pride, fulfilling my dream, being a player for the greatest club in the history of football. I can’t go on any longer, because I’ll be crying by the end, so let’s all chant together. 1, 2, 3, alla Madrid!”
Mbappe once again set the Bernabeu ablaze as he kissed the emblem on his left chest, tears welling up in his eyes.
