MLB San Diego Coach: “Kim Ha-seong and Go Woo-suk to go to Korea… It will be Exciting”

Mike Shildt, manager of the Major League Baseball (MLB) San Diego Padres,
did not hide his expectations ahead of the 2024 MLB opening series against the Los Angeles Dodgers held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.

Coach Silt met with local reporters at the Peoria Sports Complex in Arizona, USA,
where the 2024 MLB exhibition game was held against the Oakland Athletics
on the 14th (Korean time) and delivered a message to Korean baseball fans. 홀짝게임
He said, “I will visit Seoul with Kim Ha-seong and Go Woo-suk” and “I will play a fun and exciting game.”
In addition, he added, “I am grateful to the Korean baseball fans who love San Diego” and added,
“It is an honor to play in Korea.”
Director Silt also said, “I will look for things to see (in Korea) on the plane.”
After finishing the game that day, the San Diego team immediately boarded a charter flight to Korea.
After the team arrived in Korea on the 15th and recovered from their travels,
they will hold a youth baseball clinic for youth baseball fans and children of U.S. soldiers stationed
in Korea at the Children’s Park in Yongsan-gu, Seoul from 12:45 p.m. on the 16th.
On the 17th and 18th, a practice game will be held against the Korean national baseball team and the LG Twins at Gocheok Dome,
and the official opening two-game series will be played against the Dodgers on the 20th and 21st.
The opening entry has not been decided.
San Diego has a total of 31 players visiting Korea,
but only 26 of them are included in the opening roster.
Go Woo-suk was also included in the 31-member squad,
but it has not been decided whether he will join the opening roster.
