‘Virtually done’ Pochettino speaks out…”I’m happy with my squad, further signings are X”

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has effectively signaled the end of the transfer window.

On March 1 (ET), soccer outlet Tribuna published a quote from Pochettino regarding the transfer market.

When asked if Cole Palmer would be the last signing of the summer transfer window, Pochettino said, “We don’t have any more time. I think Palmer will be our last signing,” Pochettino said.

He added: “I haven’t spoken to anyone at the club since 11pm (UK time). I am happy with our squad. I don’t believe anything will happen to the players in the next few hours.”

Pochettino also opened up about newcomer Palmer: “I think Palmer is a good fit for our project. Palmer is a young, talented player. He came to Chelsea because he thinks he can play more and be used.”

“Palmer needs to show that he is better than his teammates and that he deserves to play. He needs to settle in because Manchester and 사설토토 London are different.”

Chelsea have made a “storm” of signings this transfer window. In addition to Palmer, they have added Moises Caicedo, Romeo Rabia, Axel Dias and Christopher Nkunku, among others.

With so many signings, the spending has been significant. Chelsea alone spent £400 million this summer, which is almost 700 billion in our money.
