Gyu Min Shim (Gosung High School, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea), an 11th-generation Choi Kyung-ju Foundation Golf Dreamer, has earned a spot in the Korea Professional Golf (KPGA) Korean Tour’s Hyundai Marine Choi Kyung-ju Invitational.Shim shot a 4-under-par 68 to take first place in the qualifying round for the Choi Kyung-ju Foundation’s Hyundai Marine Choi Kyung-ju Invitational for Golf Dreamers at the Buan-Namwon Course (Par 72) at Gunsan Country Club in Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do on Wednesday.Shim will compete as an invitee in the Hyundai Maritime Choi Kyung-ju Invitational, which will be held from October 5-8 at Ferum Country Club in Yeoju, Gyeonggi-do.”I am sincerely grateful to the Choi Kyung Joo Foundation for this great opportunity and will work hard to prepare for the Hyundai Maritime tournament to achieve good results,” he said.The Gunsan Country Club, which hosted the selection event, continues to sponsor the Choi Kyung-ju Foundation’s golf dreamers twice a month for free golf.The club also provided all green 안전놀이터 fees for the players who participated in the selection.
