Wolverhampton Wanderers drew 2-2 with Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Saturday, salvaging one point thanks to a double by Matheus Cunha.  Wolves failed to pull off a win despite the return of ace Hwang Hee-chan, who had been sidelined for six weeks due to a hamstring injury.  Wolves got on the scoresheet first at City Ground in Nottinghamshire, England, with Cunha dribbling past defenders and smashing a shot into the top right corner.  Morgan Gibbs-White leveled with a goal from a corner in stoppage time before Danilo turned things around in the 57th minute.  Cunha, however, scored his second in the 62nd minute, tapping in the loose ball from a corner that sealed the team’s 2-2 draw.
Hwang was back on the pitch for the first time since Feb. 29, when Wolves beat Brighton & Hove Albion1-0 in an FA Cup fifth round match, coming on as a substitute in the 59th minute.

He failed to pull off his best performance, however, recording one shot through the end of the game.  Despite having missed multiple matches due to injury, Hwang has still picked up 10 league goals and three assists in the 2023-24 campaign, which is by far his best season at Wolves. This season is the first time he has made double-digit goal contributions at Wolves, having joined the team in 2021. With Saturday’s draw, Wolves sit in 11th on the 20-team Premier League. Wolves have not secured a win in the league since a 2-1 win over Fulham on March 9. Wolves still have a chance to climb up the table with six league fixtures remaining, as sixth-place Newcastle United are only seven points above them. Wolves will next play second-place Arsenal in the league on April 20. The London side have 71 points and are two points behind defending champions 온라인카지노 Manchester City, having played one game fewer as of Sunday.
