NC Dinos continued their hope for ‘fall baseball’ with their powerful bats.
NC won a big victory 15-5 in the 2024 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League home game against KT Wiz held at Changwon NC Park on the 4th, with Matt Davidson and Kwon Hee-dong hitting back-to-back home runs and all starting batters recording RBIs.
NC, in 7th place, which escaped a two-game losing streak, reduced the gap with SSG Landers, in 5th place, who lost that day, to 0.5 games, increasing their chances of advancing to the postseason.
KT scored first in the top of the first inning when Jae-il Oh hit a two-RBI double.
However, NC turned the tide in the bottom of the first inning by scoring 4 runs with 3 hits and 2 walks, including a double by Kwon Hee-dong and Jae-hwan Cheon.

However, NC added 1 point in the bottom of the 6th and then sealed the win by scoring 4 points in the bottom of the 7th with Kwon Hee-dong’s double.
Kwon Hee-dong recorded 4 hits and 3 RBIs in 6 at-bats.
Mok Ji-hoon, known as the player who filmed a hot chocolate commercial with former manager Kim Sung-geun during his childhood, started in his first first-team game after joining NC last year, but was taken off after giving up four runs on four hits and five walks in 3⅔ innings.
