’11 Home Runs in June’ SSG Choi Jeong, Monthly MVP Award
SSG’s flagship hitter, Choi Jeong, was selected as the player with the most outstanding performance in the KBO League for the month of June.
As a result of combining the reporters’ vote and the fan vote, Choi Jeong-eun won the KBO’s monthly MVP award with an overwhelming vote.
Choi Jeong-eun hit 11 home runs during the month of June, and ranked first in home runs, RBIs, and slugging percentage.
It is the first time in four years since June 2019 that Choi Jeong won the monthly MVP award.
