The highly anticipated “Mourinho Derby” between the former and current clubs of Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho ended in a goalless draw.
English Premier League (EPL) side Manchester United and Turkkiye’s Fenerbahçe met in the third leg of the UEFA Europa League (UEL) League Phase of the 2024-2025 season at the Şıkrü Sarazolu Stadium in Turkkiye’s İstanbul on Friday (ET).
Not only was it a clash of the UEL favorites, but it was also a matchup between Mourinho’s former club, United, and his current club, Turkkiye.

United took the lead through Christian Eriksen in the 15th minute, but Youssef N’Nesiri equalized four minutes into the second half to share the points.
The draw extends United’s winless run in the UEL to three games, while Fenerbahce have won two and drawn one.
