Klinsmann “Kim Min-jae, back-to-back A-Match 5G appearances would be better than rest”

South Korean national team coach Jürgen Klinsmann doesn’t seem to be too bothered by the “harsh controversy” surrounding “iron pillar” Kim Min-jae (Bayern Munich), who plays in the German Bundesliga.

Kim is the “best” center back Korean soccer has ever had. He is a key player for Munich in the prestigious Bundesliga.

Recently, however, German media outlets have pointed out that he’s been getting a bit too much attention.

Kim has played 17 of Munich’s 18 games this season, including the regular season, the UEFA Champions League (UCL), 바카라사이트 and cup competitions.

Add to that a four-game road trip in September and October while still wearing the Taeguk-mark.

Recently, Kim has been criticized for making more passing mistakes, which some German media outlets claim is due to his lack of proper rest.

South Korea will face Singapore and China in the first and second rounds of the 2026 North and Central American World Cup Asia Second Qualifiers this November during the A-Match.

The Singapore match at home is less demanding than the China match away from home, given the level of opposition, so it was suggested that Kim Min-jae could be rested.

However, at a press conference held at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on the 15th, a day before the Singapore match, Klinsmann made it clear that he had no intention of resting Kim Min-jae.

“World Cup qualifiers are games that players want to play unconditionally,” Klinsmann said. He doesn’t want to rest, he wants to play,” Klinsmann said.

“He was probably the most tired when he arrived in Korea after a 12- or 13-hour flight, but he trained lightly for 30 minutes on the first day and recovered well. He should be ready to play now.”

Klinsmann also said, “Kim Min-jae was smiling today, and I asked him if it was his birthday,” adding, “I’m going to give him a birthday cake after training today.”

“I don’t think we’re underdogs at all,” he said of Singapore, their first opponent in their quest to qualify for the World Cup in North and Central America. They are a team that can score from set pieces and counterattacks,” he warned.

The match between South Korea and Singapore will be held at 8 p.m. on Sept. 16 at the Seoul World Cup Stadium. 바카라사이트
